CBEM Household Income Reports
These reports provide insight into the intersection between childhood bereavement and household median income across the United States. Overwhelmingly, the data show that income matters when it comes to childhood bereavement – in 44 out of 50 states, children in the lowest income group are more likely to be bereaved than those in the highest income group. In the six remaining states, low income is still associated with increased childhood bereavement.
