Our Comprehensive Grief Care® (CGC) model uses collective knowledge to support bereaved communities, families, and individuals by fostering restorative grief experiences and moderating disruptive grief reactions.

By sharing our research and best practice standards, we are building a grief-aware workforce so more grieving children can receive the care they need.

Developed at Judi’s House/JAG Institute as part of our CGC model, Pathfinders, is a 10-session family systems approach to bereavement care that is theory-driven, research-informed, and grounded in practice-based evidence. The multi-family, multi-group format creatively balances a structured curriculum with individual and family client needs.

Pathfinders Providers

Professionals trained at Judi’s House have experience promoting the grief- and trauma-informed principles and philosophies of the CGC Model.

CGC Pathfinders Providers apply components of the CGC approach, including adapting the Pathfinders program to serve grieving children and families in their practice.

Upon completing approved clinical service/training at Judi’s House, professionals may apply to become a Community CGC Pathfinders Provider. Providers have the resources to apply Pathfinders to all age levels, and advocate for grieving children and families in their own community.
