Suicide Awareness Month Resources
September is Suicide Prevention Month—a time to come together, raise awareness, and support those affected by suicide.

At Judi’s House, we’re committed to helping families navigate the grief that follows a suicide loss. This month, we shared resources and information throughout September to shed light on this critical issue and the importance of community in healing. Let’s break the silence, spread hope, and show that we care
Tough Topics

Talking about suicide can be challenging, but Suicide Prevention Awareness month provides an opportunity to break the silence and reduce the stigma surrounding it. Our Tough Topics Library offers valuable resources like chat lines, books, and podcasts to help you navigate conversations about suicide and its prevention within your community.
Suicide Prevention Week
This year, for Suicide Prevention Week we focused on the power resources and support can have in saving lives. Every conversation, every small act of kindness, and every resource shared can make a world of difference.
If you or someone you care about is in crisis, reach out to an emergency support line by calling 988 or texting TALK to 741-741. Remember, reaching out is a sign of strength. Don’t hesitate to reach out, share these resources, and be a source of support. Together, we can break the stigma and prevent suicide.

Robbie’s Hope
Robbie’s Hope is an incredible organization committed to reducing the teen suicide rate in the United States. Founded by Robbie’s family after he died by suicide in 2018, the organization works to empower teenagers in the community to change the stigma around mental health and spread the word about suicide prevention.
If you or a teen in your life are interested in getting involved or supporting Robbie’s Hope, you can find more information about their Ambassador Program by clicking the button below.
