We Are All Connected: PGT Staff Spotlights

junio 28, 2023

Meet two of our Post-graduate Trainees (PGT’s), Carolyn Bolling, LPCC and Chelsea Ernst, MSW, SWC.

Since starting our Training & Education programs over a decade ago, Judi’s House/JAG Institute has trained a range of behavioral health professionals seeking licensure in the fields of social work, psychology, and counseling. We believe it is important to train individuals from diverse educational backgrounds to competently provide grief and trauma-informed care to the communities they serve. Through training, we are able to expand our reach and get one step closer to developing a more grief-informed society.

This month, we are proud to highlight two of our Post-graduate Trainees: Carolyn Bolling and Chelsea Ernst.

PGt Carolyn Bolling

Carolyn Bolling

“I am passionate about working with children because of the ripple effect it can create in their lives. Preventative and proactive support can lead to learning healthy coping for children that they can use throughout their whole lives. Grief is incredibly impactful and distressing especially as a child, being able to support these kiddos is really important to me.”

Carolyn started at Judi’s House as an intern with Denver University, she is now excited to be continuing on as a PGT and getting more time to spend with the families and children at Judi’s House doing impactful work.

Chelsea Ernst

“I come to Judi’s House with a mixture of my own personal grief journey, from the death of my brother over nearly a decade ago, as well as having realized that I feel most fulfilled in my professional clinical work supporting youth, individuals, and families in their grief. I am so excited to work amongst such a passionate and knowledgeable group of people, all working to support children and families throughout all the waves that their grief may bring.”

PGT Chelsea Ernst

Once Chelsea knew she wanted to specialize in grief and loss, Judi’s House was the place for her to be. She looks forward to working in a supportive, collaborative, and team-oriented environment designed to grow her clinical skills.
