Grand Opening
In August of 2022 we began a new chapter in our organization’s history with the grand opening of our new, purpose-built home located in northwest Aurora. The new building will enhance our organization’s ability to continue providing a safe space for more families to find connection and healing during their grief journeys. Thank you to all of the partners who believe in our mission and worked together to make our vision for the space a reality.

Groundbreaking
On Friday, July 16, 2021 we officially broke ground on the site of our new home and construction is well underway. It was so special to be surrounded by our donors, staff, friends, and partners who are making this vision a reality.
We heard from Jessica Maitland Mayo, Chief Executive Officer, Brook and Brian Griese, stalwart Judi’s House/JAG Institute Co-Founders, Peter Carlson of Davis Partnership Architects, and Ryan Schmidt of PCL Construction. We were also joined by Superintendent Rico Munn of Aurora Public Schools (APS) who was crucial in facilitating the sale of the land from APS.
Being at the site reinforced the feeling that we are landing exactly where we belong.
