Honoring 20 years of walking side-by-side with grieving families

A letter from our founders

We are excited and humbled to enter the 20th year of providing grief support services in the Denver Metro community. It has been our honor to work alongside an amazing team of caring and committed Judi’s House staff who have provided critical Comprehensive Grief Care® to more than 12,000 grieving children and their caregivers, clinical training to more than 130 graduate and post-graduate trainees, and contributed numerous national research reports and publications to advance the field and our vision that no child should be alone in grief.

We feel immense pride in our shared accomplishments with our staff and trainees, past and present, the more than 40 community leaders who have provided guidance and expertise as board members, and scores of volunteers and donors giving their time and treasure. Of course, we would not be where we are today without the selfless and courageous families who vulnerably share their stories of loss with peers as they seek connection and healing.

We are committed to this mission and to the Denver Metro community for being and example to other communities across the country on how to build necessary support systems for grieving children and families in their time of need. We are grateful for your support and partnership over the last two decades and invite you to journey with us as we begin the next chapter in our history.

Sincerely,

Brian Griese and Dr. Brook Griese
