We Are All Connected: Staff Spotlights

April 26, 2022

Staff: Jonathan Dawson and Katlyn Maloney

Meet two members of the Judi’s House team who have quickly made a big impact on our mission.

Jonathan Dawson started working at Judi’s House as our Bilingual Grief Care Coordinator in July of 2021.  In this role, Jonathan is often the first point of contact for families and assists them in beginning their services with Judi’s House. In his free time, Jonathan likes roller skating and getting out to enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery with his two dogs, Russell and Maxwell.  He also enjoys car shows and he is working to build up his own car.

“I love that our work touches so many lives and hearts of families in need. They come in due to losing a loved one, and the work we do here at Judi’s House helps to provide them a sense of peace and new beginnings. Although our work can be difficult, my heart feels fulfilled as I am able to contribute to making a difference in someone’s life. It’s pretty powerful stuff.”

Katlyn Maloney is one of the newest additions to the Judi’s House team joining us as the Development and Communications Coordinator in January.  She manages our social media accounts, fundraising communications, and also assists with organizing donor-driven events such as give-back nights and golf tournaments.  When she’s not working, you can find Katlyn in the mountains hiking or snowshoeing, playing fetch with her dog Radar at the dog park, or taking on a much-too-ambitious DIY project at home.

“For me, working at an organization with a mission that touches so many lives in my local community is the most rewarding thing. I love being able to come to work each day believing in the work that we do as an organization. I have worked at several nonprofits which centered their work around child development and wellbeing, but there is something uniquely impactful about Judi’s House that makes it just that much more special.”
