JAG Institute
JAG Institute is a national center of excellence that provides groundbreaking research, education and training.
Named in memory of Judith Ann Griese, JAG Institute integrates the rigor of our Evaluation and Research initiative with the reach of our Training and Education initiative to improve the accessibility and quality of care grieving children and families receive.
We create social change by sharing knowledge with communities around the country. As a recognized center of excellence, we strengthen the childhood bereavement field by developing innovative tools, disseminating research findings, and providing education. In alignment with our direct-service initiative, we are ensuring childhood bereavement is recognized as a critical public priority.
Evaluation & Research
We are committed to the continual evaluation of our programs so everything we do at Judi’s House benefits our families and the larger field of childhood bereavement. Working with local and national collaborators, our Evaluation and Research team produces key findings that inform clinical services and programming nationwide.
Training & Education
Grieving children and families deserve quality care. To increase access to quality care, we share research- and practice-based knowledge through educational programming. We train professionals to provide grief- and trauma-informed services, educate communities to promote grief sensitivity, and disseminate findings to advocate for childhood bereavement as a critical public priority.
