Join us for our 2025 Luncheon!

Our annual Strength in the Face of Adversity Luncheon celebrates the incredible work being done by Judi’s House/ JAG Institute in support of grieving children and families. We are grateful to our friends and partners for making our work possible year over year.

Continued financial support is vital to advancing our Comprehensive Grief Care® to children and families in need. We routinely raise $800,000 to $900,000 through sponsorships and day-of donations. These gifts make it possible for as many as 375 children and 120 families to benefit from our Pathfinders grief counseling program.

Musician Nathaniel Rateliff of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats sitting in a moody room lit with orange and brown tones, holding a guitar.

We are ecstatic to welcome Nathaniel Rateliff as our 2025 Strength in the Face of Adversity Luncheon featured speaker! Raised in Herman, Missouri, Rateliff began his music career playing in his family’s church band before moving to Denver at 19. Following the release of two albums, In Memory of Loss (2010) and Falling Faster Than You Can Run (2013), and the Closer EP, Rateliff formed the rock outfit Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Since their 2015 self-titled breakthrough album, the band has established themselves as generational talents through their dynamic live performances and growing catalog of essential studio recordings.

Don’t miss your opportunity to join us for this year’s luncheon where you will hear Nathaniel discuss his inspiring career and his own journey with grief following the death of his father when he was just 14 years old.
