Nourishment Volunteer Program
In times of loss, a shared meal can be a profound source of comfort and connection. At Judi’s House/JAG Institute, the power of food brings families together as they navigate the difficult path of grief.
Our nourishment program offers a meaningful opportunity to serve our community. By offering a warm meal before group therapy sessions, we offer a space for families to gather, support one another, and find solace in shared experiences. The program eliminates one barrier to care by offering caregivers peace of mind in knowing a nourishing dinner awaits them.
Nourishment Volunteer Opportunities
Dinner Service Volunteers
- Mondays – Thursdays | 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- Help out during Judi’s House dinner service by setting up, serving the meal that is provided, and cleaning up after the meal.
- It is important that volunteers arrive ready and on time at 5 p.m. If you are a new volunteer, please consider arriving at Judi’s House 15 minutes early (4:45 p.m.).
- Families will come for dinner between 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. While we are typically done cleaning by 6:30 p.m., we do ask that all volunteers stay to help until all clean-up tasks are completed.
