Legacy Project – Family Activity

Brainstorm an activity that your family can do to honor the legacy of your special person and make a plan to put your idea into action! Here are some ideas to help you get started

Legacy Free Write – Youth Activity ages 13 – Adult

Set a timer for two minutes. On a piece of paper, write down all the ways your special person impacted you during those two minutes. After the timer goes off, review what you wrote and identify key words and themes that can help you honor your special person’s legacy in your everyday life.

Gifts of my special person – youth activity Ages 3 -12

Using sturdy paper, like cardstock, draw and cut out squares to represent gift boxes (you may need to ask for help from an adult). Use craft supplies to decorate your gift boxes with ribbons, bows, stickers, and more! On each gift box, think about the ways your special person was a gift to you and write or draw something to show this. Some things to think about: what have you learned from them? What did you respect or admire about them? Are there ways you both are similar?
